THE LF4VET CONSORTIUM
LF4VET project aims to support Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers, teachers and trainers in designing, implementing and operating Learning Factories tailored to the specific needs of VET systems. The project addresses the gap between existing Learning Factory models, mainly developed for higher education, and the realities of VET, by providing adapted pedagogical frameworks, technological guidelines and practical tools.
A core element of LF4VET is the development of VET-oriented Learning Factory models aligned with the principles of Industry 5.0, placing people, sustainability and resilience at the centre of learning. Through co-creation between industry and education, LF4VET promotes experiential, practice-based learning that enhances learners’ technical skills, transversal competences and employability.
LF4VET will facilitate the transfer of knowledge and best practices across VET ecosystems, supporting institutions in integrating Learning Factories into their curricula and daily training activities, while strengthening collaboration between VET providers, industry and other key stakeholders.
The LF4VET consortium brings together partners with complementary expertise in VET, Learning Factories, digitalisation, pedagogy and industrial innovation. It involves four partners:

MA is a VET centre specialising in advanced manufacturing, with strong expertise in applied learning. As project coordinator, it brings extensive experience in implementing Learning Factories.
FH JOANNEUM Gesellschaft mbH
FH JOANNEUM is a University of Applied Sciences with focus on applied research, digitalisation and advanced manufacturing. It contributes expertise in practice-based education, innovation-driven training concepts and industry collaboration.
École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers
ENSAM is a higher education and research institution with expertise in Learning Factories. The institution contributes strong academic knowledge and experience in innovative, practice-oriented education models.
